Role: Junior Supply Chain Assistant

Location: Ashbourne, Co. Meath

Salary: €30k

At Broadline Recruiters, we have an excellent opportunity for a professional and passionate Junior Supply Chain Assistant, who is looking to grow their knowledge and skills, to join a dynamic team based in Ashbourne. This role is an immediate start for the right candidate.

Role Requirements:

• Coordinate and process customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely dispatch of produce.
• Schedule transportation, track shipments, and manage third-party logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery while minimizing spoilage.
• Monitor stock levels at distribution centres and warehouses; manage inbound and outbound product flows to maintain optimal inventory.
• Work closely with growers and suppliers to ensure alignment with quality, quantity, and delivery specifications.
• Support quality control checks during receiving, storage, and shipping to ensure produce meets company and customer standards.
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records. Ensure compliance with food safety and traceability standards.
• Quickly resolve delivery delays, inventory discrepancies, or product quality issues through proactive communication and problem-solving.
• Generate reports on supply chain performance, forecast needs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to streamline operations and respond to changing customer needs.

Candidate Requirements:

• Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in supply chain or logistics.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in supply chain software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
