HR Executive – 4* Luxury Hotel – East Cork

We are currently recruiting for the position of Human Resource Executive in a 4* Luxury Hotel in East Cork. This is a full time position, Monday – Friday, however, there may be some room for flexibility. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Human Resources activities of the hotel.

Main Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Manage daily HR administrative functions and drive employee engagement through effective communication and leadership.
• Provide support to Heads of Department on recruitment, training, performance, and employee development.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and ensure a positive employee experience from start to finish.
• Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance and working towards a paperless HR system.
• Ensure compliance with training requirements, and coordinate refresher courses as needed.
• Support disciplinary processes, manage grievances, and ensure fair resolution according to company policies.
• Submit payroll information weekly and oversee HR initiatives across the hotel.
• Maintain transparent communication with Heads of Department and management, while managing absenteeism effectively.

Ideal Candidate: 

• A qualification in Human Resources Management or be studying to pursue same;
• Minimum 1 years’ previous experience working in a HR role/within a HR department;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills;
• Excellent leadership and conflict management skills;

Salary Guide: €35k – €40k
