Reservation Agent – 4* Hotel in Wexford

Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join their front office team at our 4-star hotel in Wexford. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests booking accommodations, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from initial inquiry through to check-in.

Duties and Responsibilites:

• Manage all incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms

• Accurately input bookings into the hotel’s reservation system

• Provide detailed information about room types, rates, packages, and hotel facilities

• Upsell available services to maximise revenue (e.g. room upgrades, dining, spa)

• Coordinate with front office and housekeeping to ensure accurate guest information

• Handle guest queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies

Candidate:

• Previous experience in a reservations or front office role preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (e.g. Opera, Hotsoft) an advantage

• Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays
