Duty Manager – 4-Star Hotel | Wexford

We are currently recruiting an experienced Duty Manager for a well-established 4-star hotel in Wexford. This is a hands-on operational role with a strong focus on Restaurant Service, Banqueting Operations, and Front Office, ideal for a hospitality professional looking to take the next step in their management career.

The Role

Reporting to the Hotel Management team, the Duty Manager will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all departments while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily hotel operations with a primary focus on Restaurant, Banqueting, and Front Office

• Act as the main point of contact for guests, handling queries and resolving issues professionally

• Support and supervise departmental teams, ensuring service standards are consistently met

• Coordinate and manage banqueting and event operations, ensuring smooth delivery

• Assist with staff training, rostering, and performance management

• Carry out Duty Management shifts, including evenings and weekends

• Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire regulations, and company policies

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager or Supervisor in a 4-star or luxury hotel

• Strong background in Food & Beverage, Banqueting, and Front Office

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• Guest-focused with a hands-on, proactive management style

• Flexible to work a variety of shifts
