Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business growth and revenue for the hotel by identifying opportunities across corporate, leisure, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events), and group markets, while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting overall commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
· The Business Development Manager will identify and secure new business opportunities across all market segments.
· The Business Development Manager will develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate, leisure, and group clients.
· The Business Development Manager will proactively sell hotel bedrooms, conference facilities, and event spaces.
· The Business Development Manager will conduct client meetings, presentations, and hotel site inspections.
· The Business Development Manager will negotiate corporate rates, contracts, and group agreements.
· The Business Development Manager will develop strategies to increase occupancy, revenue, and market share.
· The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Revenue Manager to optimise pricing and yield.
· The Business Development Manager will manage and grow key accounts and existing business relationships.
· The Business Development Manager will attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
· The Business Development Manager will monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
· The Business Development Manager will prepare sales proposals, contracts, and business presentations.
· The Business Development Manager will maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline in CRM systems.
· The Business Development Manager will collaborate with marketing teams on promotional campaigns and initiatives.
· The Business Development Manager will support the planning and execution of MICE and large group bookings.
· The Business Development Manager will prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for senior management.

· Proven experience in sales, business development, or hotel sales roles.

Qualifications
· Degree or qualification in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field desirable.
