Job Description
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the hotel restaurant, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest service, effective team management, strong financial performance, and compliance with all operational, hygiene, and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
· The Restaurant Manager will manage the daily operations of the hotel restaurant.
· The Restaurant Manager will ensure consistently high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
· The Restaurant Manager will lead, train, and motivate restaurant staff to deliver excellent service.
· The Restaurant Manager will oversee staffing levels, rotas, and labour cost control.
· The Restaurant Manager will ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
· The Restaurant Manager will monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
· The Restaurant Manager will handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
· The Restaurant Manager will ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and licensing regulations.
· The Restaurant Manager will support sales growth through upselling and promotional initiatives.
· The Restaurant Manager will manage restaurant budgets, revenue targets, and cost controls.
· The Restaurant Manager will oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination for front-of-house.
· The Restaurant Manager will conduct staff training, performance reviews, and development planning.
· The Restaurant Manager will ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are maintained.
· The Restaurant Manager will assist with restaurant setup for events, functions, and special occasions.

Essential Requirements
· Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a hotel or high-quality hospitality environment.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
· Experience managing budgets, labour costs, and service standards.
· Knowledge of HACCP and hospitality compliance in Ireland.
