About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and highly organised Weddings & Events Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys creating memorable experiences for clients. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing weddings and special events from initial enquiry through to the event day.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage wedding and event enquiries from initial contact through to completion

• Conduct venue show-arounds and client consultations

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of weddings and events including timelines, layouts, suppliers, and logistics

• Liaise with couples, clients, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth event delivery

• Prepare event proposals, contracts, and invoices

• Coordinate event schedules and oversee event setup and breakdown

• Be present on event days to manage operations and ensure exceptional service

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers

• Ensure all events meet company standards and client expectations

• Achieve sales targets and contribute to business development initiatives

Requirements

• Previous experience in wedding planning, event management, or hospitality management

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills

• Strong communication and client relationship skills

• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously

• High attention to detail

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when events are scheduled

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software is an advantage

Desirable

• Experience working in a hotel, venue, or hospitality setting

• Knowledge of wedding trends and event styling

• Sales or revenue management experience
