We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious luxury hotel in Wicklow for an experienced and driven Operations Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-end property in a senior leadership role, overseeing all Hotel operations and driving service excellence and profitability.

Job Summary

As Director of Operations, you will lead and manage all restaurant, bar, banqueting, and in-room dining operations. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue, and ensuring the highest standards across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all hotel departments.
• Ensure high standards of guest satisfaction and address any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
• Supervise, train, and support departmental managers and staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
• Monitor labour, expenses, and profitability to ensure operational efficiency and cost control.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to enhance productivity and guest experience.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and employment regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure maintenance and cleanliness standards are upheld.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of staff.
• Analyse occupancy trends, guest feedback, and service reports to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Director of Food & Beverage or senior Operations leader in a luxury or 4/5-star hotel
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Commercially focused with a track record in driving revenue and controlling costs
• Experience managing large teams and multi-outlet operations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
• Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
