Senior Goods In Operative

Our Warehouse & Logistics client based in Dublin 24 are seeking an experienced Goods in Operative, who will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, inspection, and processing of inbound deliveries. The role ensures stock is accurately received into the warehouse management system, quality standards are maintained, and inbound operations run smoothly while supporting and guiding the Goods In team.

Role Requirements:

• The Goods In Operative will coordinate and prioritise all inbound deliveries.
• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Ensure all stock is accurately booked into the Warehouse Management System.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damaged goods, and supplier issues.
• Allocate stock to appropriate warehouse locations.
• Monitor inbound KPIs, productivity, and receiving accuracy.
• Support, train, and provide day-to-day guidance to Goods In Operatives.
• Liaise with Procurement, Inventory Control, Warehouse, and Transport teams to ensure efficient stock flow.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation.
• Assist with stock counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

• The Goods In Operative will previous experience in a Goods In or warehouse receiving role.
• Counterbalance Forklift license is required.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and stock accuracy.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Hours 39 hours

Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm

Salary €35k DOE
