Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Our client, in the FMCG Industry who are based in the South Dublin area are seeking an experienced Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join their team. The Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager will be responsible for leading the warehouse, stock control and distribution operations. They will be responsible for the efficient running of the Warehouse & Logistics operations, ensuring goods are received and dispatched accurately.

Role Requirements:

• Oversee all day-to-day warehouse operations, including goods receipt, put-away, replenishment, order picking, packing and dispatch.
• Manage stock rotation, product traceability, cycle counting, returns, damaged stock and short shelf-life inventory.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly to maintain high inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate company fleet, third-party logistics providers and external storage facilities to ensure efficient and cost-effective distribution.
• Monitor transport schedules, route planning and delivery performance to achieve service level targets.
• Ensure all inbound and outbound stock movements are accurately recorded.
• Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse and logistics team to achieve operational objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators, including service levels, picking accuracy, productivity, labour costs, overtime, transport costs, stock accuracy, waste, returns and warehouse utilisation.

Candidate Requirements:

• The Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager will have a minimum of five years’ experience in a busy warehouse environment.
• Previous responsibility for stock, transport and staff.
• Experienced in FMCG is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of MS Suite, Business Central and ERP’s is required.
• Third-level qualification in Supply Chain, or a related discipline is required.

Salary €70k – €75k

Hours 8am – 5pm

Monday – Friday
