Catering Assistant

Broadline Group are looking for Catering Assistant all through Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, Kildare, Meath, Westmeath, Louth, Laois, Offaly, Kilkenny and Carlow locations.

Suitable Catering Assistant must have six months relevant work experience in contract catering or high-volume hospitality environment and be able to provide work references. We have ongoing Catering Assistant positions in prime units including some of the largest events all throughout Leinster.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 6 months’ experience working in a catering or kitchen environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English, with experience in food preparation, salad bar setup and counter displays.
• Experience with cleaning systems, Barista duties, cash handling and operating a till.
• Ability to adapt to new environments, work efficiently under pressure and follow HACCP procedures.
• Must have two working references, a valid work permit and PPS Number, with flexibility to work Monday–Friday daytime hours and travel to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare catering areas for breakfast and lunch service.
• Set up and maintain salad bars, deli bars and canteen areas to a high standard.
• Assist with food preparation, presentation and general catering duties.
• Complete Barista duties when required and maintain high standards of service and cleanliness.
• Follow all HACCP procedures and work efficiently as part of the catering team while remaining calm under pressure.
