About the Role
Broadline Recruiters are currently recruiting an experienced Head Banqueting Chef for a luxury hotel in Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and standards-driven chef with strong banqueting, events and high-volume hotel experience.

The successful candidate will lead banqueting kitchen operations, ensuring excellent food quality, consistency and presentation across weddings, corporate events, private dining and large-scale functions.

Your Responsibilities
As Head Banqueting Chef, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading banqueting kitchen operations for weddings, conferences, events and private functions
• Ensuring excellent food quality, presentation and consistency across all banqueting menus
• Managing preparation, service planning and kitchen organisation for high-volume events
• Supporting menu planning, costing, stock control and supplier management
• Training, developing and motivating chefs within the banqueting kitchen team
• Working closely with the Executive Head Chef, C&B team and senior hotel management
• Maintaining HACCP, food safety, hygiene and kitchen operating standards
• Managing waste, portion control and kitchen efficiency during busy event periods

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Head Banqueting Chef, Sous Chef or senior chef in a hotel environment
• Strong banqueting, weddings, events or high-volume kitchen experience
• Experience within a luxury hotel, 4-star or 5-star property is highly desirable
• Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety and kitchen procedures
• Ability to manage multiple events and deliver consistent standards under pressure
• Commercial awareness with good understanding of food cost, waste and stock control
