We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager to join the team at a popular 4-star hotel located in Dublin City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality sales professional looking to take the next step in their career while supporting the delivery of the hotel’s commercial strategy.

Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Director and senior management team, you will assist in driving revenue across corporate, leisure, group, conference, and events business. You will help develop new business opportunities, manage key client relationships, coordinate marketing initiatives, and support the implementation of sales and promotional strategies. The ideal candidate will have previous hotel sales experience, a strong commercial awareness, and a proven ability to deliver results in a competitive hospitality market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Sales & Marketing Director in delivering the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate, leisure, group, and travel industry clients.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Manage sales enquiries, prepare proposals, negotiate rates, and follow up on business opportunities.
• Conduct hotel show-arounds, client meetings, and represent the hotel at networking events and trade exhibitions.
• Assist in planning and delivering marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and print channels.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and local business opportunities to support commercial growth.
• Produce regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.
• Maintain accurate client records using the hotel’s CRM system.
• Work closely with reservations, events, revenue, and operational teams to ensure the successful delivery of client requirements.
• Support the organisation of promotional events, and client hospitality activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel sales, hospitality marketing, or a similar commercial role is essential.
• Experience within a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of hotel sales, revenue generation, and account management.
• Experience supporting digital marketing campaigns and promotional activity.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and hotel Property Management Systems (Opera experience is advantageous).
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Full working rights in Ireland.
