We are now seeking out the best and brightest talent who is looking for an exciting new journey. I am currently recruiting for a Conference & Banqueting/ Events Operations Manager to join the team in this high profile venue in Dublin. 

 

Conference & Banqueting/Events Operations Manager Role

  • To ensure that all members and guests needs and expectations are met.
  • As C&B Manager you will co-ordinate and organise all events in this high profile venue in line with the function sheet and guest requirements.
  • To liaise with group organisers during their event and ensure all changes are passed to the relevant departments.
  • As Events Operations Manager you will follow up with the sales team or the guest with regard to any queries prior to the event.
  • The C&B Manager/Events Operations Manager will organise all the necessary equipment for the event from stores, laundry etc.
  • The C&B Manager/Events Operations Manager will manage and supervise the food & beverage service in the function rooms across the venue, ensuring standards are maintained.
  • The C&B Manager/Events Operations Manager will oversee the management/supervisory team and the staff on site ensuring rotas are matched to business levels 
  • To follow up on any queries or complaints from members or guests ensuring the relevant personnel are informed of the details.
  • The C&B Manager/Events Operations Manager will co-ordinate staff for all events in the functions rooms ensure payroll costs are kept to a minimum and within the agreed parameters.
  • The C&B Manager/Events Operations Manager will assist with the recruitment of all personnel for their teams, in conjunction with the personnel team.
  • The C&B Manager/Events Operations Manager will effectively communicate with Senior Management, regarding the performance of the department.

 

Conference & Banqueting/Events Operations Manager Requirements

  • The C&B Manager/Events Operations Manager will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role from a Hotel Banqueting environment or Events Venus
  • The C&B Manager/Events Operations Manager will have experience working from high end hotels/venues 
  • The C&B Manager/Events Operations Manager  will have excellent people management skills with the ability to build and motivate the team
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • The C&B Manager/Events Operations Manager will have experience running high volume functions and events in a luxury environment 
  • The C&B Manager/Events Operations Manager  will receive a salary of €50k (guideline)
