Food & Beverage Manager

My client is looking for a strategic Food & Beverage Manager/Director for the hotel’s food and beverage/culinary operation, including Restaurants/Bars, Room Service and Banquets.
Duties & Responsible
- Director of Food & Beverage will develop and maintain food and beverage/culinary goals
- Director of Food & Beverage will set expectations and holds food and beverage leadership team accountable for demonstrating desired service behaviours.
- Director of Food & Beverage will reviews financial reports and statements to determine how Food and Beverage is performing against budget.
- Director of Food & Beverage will work with food and beverage leadership team to determine areas of concern and develops strategies to improve the department’s financial performance.
- Director of Food & Beverage will establishes challenging, realistic and obtainable goals to guide operation and performance.
- Director of Food & Beverage will develops and manage all Food and Beverage budgets.
- Director of Food & Beverage will monitors the department’s actual and projected sales to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded and opportunities are identified and addressed.
- Director of Food & Beverage will focus on maintaining profit margins without compromising guest or employee satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate
- At least 2 years’ experience working as a Director of food and beverage or in a senior food and beverage management role in a high-volume bar food environment in 4/5 star hotels in Ireland.
- Director of food and Beverage must have a background in training and leading a team to the highest of standards and managing high volume food and beverage operations.
- Director of food and Beverage should have Hospitality Management qualification – or similar experience
- Director of food and Beverage should have thorough knowledge of the food/beverage industry in Ireland and market changes or forces that may influence business performance
- Director of food and Beverage must have excellent people management skills
- Director of food and Beverage must have an understanding of financial management and wider management principles and techniques.
- Director of food and Beverage must have a very high level of commercial awareness.
- Director of food and Beverage must have leadership skills.
- Director of food and Beverage must have excellent communication & organisation skills.
