Junior Sous Chef – Private Members Club
Salary: €41,000 – €43,000
We are seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at an exclusive Private Members Club. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality, creatively presented dishes while supervising kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and assist in food preparation, ensuring quality and presentation
Oversee and supervise kitchen staff
Support menu planning, inventory, and supply management
Maintain cleanliness and ensure compliance with food safety standards
Assist with staff scheduling and training new employees
Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment
Proactively solve kitchen issues and maintain smooth operations
Candidate Requirements:
Level 1 & 2 Food Safety Certificates
Level 2 Health & Safety Workplace Certificate
Minimum 2 years relevant kitchen experience
Knowledge of manual handling techniques
Competent English communication skills (spoken and written)
Creative, calm under pressure, with strong leadership abilities
