Front Office Manager Luxury 4* Hotel Wicklow
The ideal candidate must come from a strong Front Office background. They will report directly to the Operations Manager and must take a hands-on approach to their work and be an effective Team Leader.
Role Requirements:
- Report for duty on time and in full and correct uniform in accordance with company policy
- Develop and enhance current SOP & carryout retraining with all the team
- Ensure the reception desk is covered at all times
- Ensure all calls are answered promptly, courteously and efficiently at all times
- Carry out thorough and accurate handovers for the next shift including ensuring Opera accounts and floats are balanced
- Darry out Duty Manager Shifts if required
- Manage PM Accounts
- Develop a thorough knowledge of the hotel products and services.
- Sell the hotels products and services in a professional manner in accordance with company policy.
- Handle all customer inquiries, requests and bookings in a professional and courteous manner
- Manage sales of Hotel vouchers in accordance with company policy
- Work as part of a team and reinforce your team by cross training exercises
- Manage reception cash float while ensuring and maintaining security of cash, credit cards
- Ensure all guest details and account details are correct and in accordance with hotel credit policy regarding change / unconfirmed reservations / own account and Travel Agent bookings
- Liaise with unsatisfied customers in a professional manner and report incidents to Management
- Carry out end of shift procedures
- Set up training plans and ensure relevant sign of procedures are carried out
- Liaise with Sales Office regarding blocks and activities
- Handle room allocations
- Liaise with Accommodation team
