Head Chef Full Time

A prestigious luxury hotel in Westport is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead its culinary team and deliver an exceptional dining experience across its banqueting, and hotel food operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef with a strong background in who is passionate about quality, creativity, and leading a high-performing kitchen team.

The Role

• Head Chef will lead and manage all kitchen operations within the hotel
• Head Chef will design and deliver exceptional seasonal menus focused on quality and presentation
• Head Chef will manage food costs, GP margins, stock control, and supplier relationships
• Head chef will look after training, mentoring, and developing a professional kitchen brigade
• Head Chef will maintain the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organisation
• Head Chef will work closely with senior management to enhance the overall guest dining experience
• Head Chef will drive creativity and consistency across all food outlets and events

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a four and five star property
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Passion for high-quality cuisine and attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of food costings, kitchen operations, and HACCP
• Ability to perform in a busy, fast-paced environment
• A positive and hands-on approach to leadership
