HGV Driver – C License Full Time

Role: HGV Driver 

Location: South Dublin

Salary: €37k – €40k

Here at Broadline Recruiters, we have an amazing HGV driver role available for a full-time permanent position. This role is an immediate start for the right candidate. Our client based in the South Dublin area, are seeking an experienced professional to join their team.

Role Requirements:

• Plan driving routes to maximize efficiency, whilst ensuring customers are serviced to set schedules
• Drive your vehicle to the highest possible standard and complete daily safety checks to promote safety and protect other road users.
• Develop positive customer relationships, through excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of all collections and deliveries through the use of handheld digital technology and the input of records on the computer system.
• Devise and implement new work practices that assist the management team to diversify its product offering and remain competitive.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in muti-drop deliveries and collections, accurate record keeping, customer service.
• Full clean C driving license, CPC certification and valid digital tachograph card required.
• Approach and deliver all work in a thorough and organised manner.
• Follow procedures and protocols, understanding their value and the rationale behind them.
• Conduct yourself in such a manner as to ensure a working environment that promotes respects and upholds the dignity of all staff members and those who you come into contact within the course of your work.
• Understand the steps or processes that colleagues must go through and can clearly explain these.
• Organise your time to enable you to complete work activities according to legal and organisational requirements and to meet individuals’ needs and preferences.
• Maintain clear, accurate, factual and up-to-date records.
