Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to join their team at a prestigious 4-star hotel in Wicklow. This hands-on role requires a confident leader with a strong customer service ethic and the ability to manage hotel operations during key shifts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the smooth running of the hotel during your shift, including front office, housekeeping, and F&B operations.

• Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally and efficiently.

• Monitor staff performance and support departmental teams to ensure high standards of service.

• Ensure health & safety, fire regulations, and security procedures are adhered to at all times.

• Conduct shift handovers and maintain accurate logs and reports.

• Assist with training and mentoring junior team members.

• Collaborate with all departments to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Candidate:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or duty management role within a 4-star (or similar) hospitality environment.

• Strong customer service, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Proficient in hotel management systems (e.g., Hotsoft, Opera, TablePlan) is desirable.
