A well-established 4-star hotel in Kildare is seeking an experienced Conference & Banqueting Manager to lead and deliver high-quality events, conferences, weddings, and banqueting operations. This is a senior operational role requiring strong leadership, organisation, and a hands-on approach to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all conference, banqueting, and events operations from planning to delivery

• Lead, train, and motivate the C&B team to ensure consistently high service standards

• Liaise with sales, kitchen, and front office teams to ensure seamless event execution

• Manage staffing levels, rosters, and departmental costs

• Ensure all events meet brand standards and guest expectations

• Maintain health & safety and service compliance at all times

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Conference & Banqueting Manager or strong Assistant Manager ready to step up

• Background in 4-star hotel or high-volume events operations

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Strong leadership with a hands-on management style

• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and peak event periods
