We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious luxury hotel in South Dublin for an experienced and commercially focused Deputy General Manager. This is a key leadership opportunity for a driven hospitality professional to support the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a high-performing property.

Job Summary

As Deputy General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence across all departments while driving guest satisfaction, team performance, and financial results. You will act as a key support to the General Manager and step in to lead the hotel in their absence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in the overall running of the hotel
• Oversee daily operations across all departments including Rooms, F&B, and Events
• Lead, motivate, and develop department heads and teams
• Ensure exceptional guest experience in line with luxury hospitality standards
• Drive revenue, control costs, and support budget achievement
• Monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and operational standards
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, HACCP, and company policies
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues efficiently and professionally
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams to optimise performance

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Deputy General Manager, Operations Manager, or senior hotel leader within a luxury or 4/5-star property
• Strong operational background across Rooms and/or Food & Beverage
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Commercially aware with a strong focus on revenue and cost control
• Ability to manage and develop large teams
• High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
• Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
