Food & Beverage Supervisor

The role of Food & Beverage Supervisor has become available in a 5 star luxury hotel in Dublin City Centre. This exciting position will support the Deputy / Food and Beverage Manager to assist in the effective running of breakfast/snacks and the bar function of the hotel ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining an exceptional standard of delivery and professionalism.

Job requirements:

  • Work experience within 5 star hospitality venues
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong bar skills – cocktail making will be expected
  • Experience with inventory ordering and deliveries
  • Excellent presentation and appearance
  • Well organized and attention to detail
  • Candidate who is looking for longevity and career progression

Roles and responsibilities will include:

  • To implement new ideas for service and products to maintain competitive and leading edge
  • To ensure guest drinks and dishes are prepared and served according to company standards
  • To monitor, anticipate and react to customer needs consistently to ensure maximum guest satisfaction
  • To pay attention to detail in all aspects of the customer journey
  • To ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the bar, and to carry out recorded hygiene audits at regular intervals
  • To coach individual team members to develop their skills and maximise performance, ensuring training records are updated accordingly
  • To assist the management team in the smooth running of the department and par-take in stock take and reconcile
  • To ensure the dressing, appearance and presentation of the bar throughout service is of a consistently high standard and that excellent levels of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times
