Job Description

Our client is recruiting for an experienced Head Chef to manage and lead all kitchen operations. This is a senior kitchen management role requiring strong leadership, creativity, and a passion for delivering consistently high standards in a high-volume restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

• Head Chef will drive sales and maintain a high level of standards throughout the kitchen, including all aspects of food preparation and storage.
• Head Cheff will be responsible for the everyday management of a fast-paced Kitchen team.
• Head Chef will carry out all Health & Safety, HACCP, and any other requirements that need to be achieved.
• Head Chef will achieve targets with staff and management to achieve the optimum food waste, while ensuring that operational costs are kept as low as possible.
• Head Chef will coordinate with all areas on service and menu plans.
• Head Chef will manage food costs in line with the budget.
• Head Chef will implement effective cost controls without compromising standards of service.
• Head Chef will develop new menu ideas that are innovative and customer focused.

The Candidate

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Head Chef.
• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and kitchen compliance.
• Proven ability in menu development, food cost control, and team management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to meet targets, deadlines, and operational KPIs.
