About the Role
Broadline Recruiters are currently recruiting an experienced Bar Manager for a luxury 4-star hotel in Carlow. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and standards-driven hospitality professional to lead a busy hotel bar operation, deliver exceptional guest service and support a high-performing food and beverage team.

Your Responsibilities
As Bar Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily bar operations, service standards and team performance
• Leading, training and motivating the bar team
• Maintaining excellent guest service, presentation and product standards
• Managing stock control, ordering, wastage and supplier relationships
• Supporting beverage menu development, including cocktails, wines and seasonal specials
• Monitoring costs, budgets and profitability while maintaining quality standards
• Ensuring full compliance with health, safety and licensing requirements
• Supporting hotel events, promotions and wider food and beverage operations

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bar Manager or strong Assistant Bar Manager
• Experience in a hotel, luxury venue or high-volume bar environment
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits and current beverage trends
• Commercial awareness with the ability to manage stock, costs and sales
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy hotel service periods
• Professional, hands-on and standards-driven approach
