We are seeking a motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join the team at a busy 4-star hotel in Kildare. This is a hands-on role suited to a confident hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, excellent operational awareness, and a passion for delivering high standards of guest service.

The successful candidate will support the smooth day-to-day running of the hotel, working closely with all departments across food and beverage, front office, conferences, weddings, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily hotel operations and coordinate effectively across all departments
• Ensure the smooth delivery of conferences, weddings, restaurant, bar, and front office services
• Act as the main point of contact for guest queries and operational issues during shifts
• Complete fire walks, cash handling procedures, and support AV setups for events
• Supervise food and beverage service during busy periods and ensure strong team delegation
• Monitor guest satisfaction and maintain consistently high service standards
• Lead team briefings and support the planning of upcoming functions and events
• Assist with operational targets, including waste reduction, wage control, and budgeting
• Ensure hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety standards are maintained at all times
• Support and motivate team members to deliver a professional and guest-focused service

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous Duty Manager experience in a 4-star hotel or similar high-volume property
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Hotsoft or a similar front office system would be an advantage
• Excellent attention to detail and a guest-focused approach
• Ability to remain calm, organised, and efficient in a fast-paced environment
• Strong food and beverage, events, or front office experience is desirable
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts in line with hotel operations
