We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accommodation Supervisor to join the housekeeping team in a contemporary hotel located in the heart of Dublin City.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housekeeping professional who enjoys leading by example and is passionate about delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness and guest service.

Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day supervision of the housekeeping team, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards. You will support with team training, room inspections, staff coordination, and maintaining efficient departmental operations while helping to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for every guest.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience within a hotel housekeeping department, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Conduct inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met.
• Allocate daily work assignments and monitor team productivity throughout each shift.
• Support the recruitment, induction, training, and development of housekeeping team members.
• Assist the Accommodation Manager in maintaining departmental standards, procedures, and performance targets.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure rooms are cleaned, inspected, and available for guest arrivals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Housekeeping or Accommodation role within a hotel environment.
• At least 1–2 years’ experience in a supervisory or team leader position is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards, and hotel operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Experience supervising, motivating, and supporting a housekeeping team.
• Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
