Assistant Food & Beverage Manager – 4* Hotel Wexford

My client is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to assist the F&B manager and oversee banqueting operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality leading a team and be passionate and knowledgeable about function and event service. This is a busy wedding property that is looking to uphold the highest of standards and the ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail. There is no conferencing as part of this role.



  • Scheduling reservations
  • Maintain a consistent presence with guests from enquiry to the event
  • Operating the facilities efficiently
  • Planning well so each event runs smoothly
  • Managing your food and beverage team
  • Briefing staff and checking the room set-up before the event
  • Ensuring the room is turned around, ready for the next event
  • Deputising in Duty Manager role when not in Banquet Service

 Candidate Requirements:

  • Have previous experience in hospitality
  • Very well presented.
  • Have the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a  fast paced environment
  • Highly motivated individual as there is progression within this role.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent understanding of all aspects of a hotel.


Salary Guide €36k Neg. Plus Bonus
