We are seeking a motivated and experienced Accommodation Manager to join the team and develop the Accommodation department in a busy City Centre Hotel. This role is best sutied to someone looking to Lead the housekeeping team in a contemporary, fast-paced hotel located in the heart of Dublin City. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department, ensuring guest rooms and public areas consistently exceed brand standards. You will lead, train, and motivate a dedicated team, manage staffing and scheduling, monitor quality and productivity, control departmental costs, and work closely with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department.
• Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate housekeeping team members to deliver exceptional service.
• Prepare staff schedules and manage labour resources in line with business demands.
• Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure compliance with hotel brand standards and health & safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with the Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure efficient room turnaround and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, and amenities, ensuring effective stock control and cost management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Accommodation Manager, or Accommodation Manager role within a hotel environment.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage high-performing teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across departments.
• Experience in staff scheduling, labour planning, and departmental cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and fire safety regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
